Approach to solving area issues
Challenges in the area
The characteristics of visitors to the area primarily include commuters from the metropolitan area and residents of nearby districts (daily visitors), as well as tourists and MICE visitors from both domestic and international locations (occasional visitors). Additionally, the destinations of these visitors are not limited to this area alone. When considering the movement of people within this area, it is effective to implement measures that encourage the circulation of workers and visitors in collaboration with surrounding districts, rather than focusing solely on the area itself.
Direction for problem-solving
Coordination of mobility and transportation information within and outside the area, which is commonly required regardless of daily or occasional scenarios.
Coordination of event information that serves as destinations for visitors in and around the area.
By providing the above-mentioned coordinated information as a consolidated service, it will address the challenges of this area and enable visitors to fully enjoy the comprehensive attractions of the wider Tokyo area.
Project Overview
Targeted Service
A circulation promotion information dissemination service aimed at fully enjoying the attractions of the wider Tokyo area. Through this service, it will be possible to display mobility and event information within the area and other areas, enabling visitors to fully enjoy the comprehensive attractions of the wider Tokyo (metropolitan) area.
Coordination of event information and other data through the implementation of integration with the urban OS of surrounding areas.
Coordination of mobility information through the implementation of integration with external platforms of service providers (such as mobility providers) across different areas.
Design and implement the UI/UX of ‘Oh MY Map!’ to promote improved circulation between areas.
Desired state through the implementation of the service
Through the information dissemination tool (app) ‘Oh MY Map!’ for this area, it is aimed to provide coordinated mobility and event information within and outside the area, enabling visitors to fully enjoy the comprehensive attractions of the wider Tokyo area.
Promote circulation to the wider Tokyo area by disseminating mobility, surrounding event, and tourism information to MICE visitors in this area.
Increase mutual visitor traffic between adjacent districts by sharing mobility and event information with workers and nearby residents.
